Everyone told me that it was going to be twice to three times as expensive to buy things here as it was in Minnesota but I am still surprised by some of the stuff.

Suffice to say I will be putting in a SpanAlaska order or getting food in bulk. Its just that sometimes you want a snack food, fresh fruit and veggies, or juice and that is where it gets pricey.
