The Russian Orthodox Church

There is a tiny broken down building in the center of town that I thought was just a shack. It turns out that it is a Russian Orthodox Church and there are tons of cool and old stuff in there. There are pictures of saints, old bibles, tapestries, huge bells, and even a part where women can't go because only the priest are allowed.

Making Stained Glass

We had an artist in residence last week and he taught us to make Stained Glass. I made the Aurora Borealis and it was actually a fun time. The kids all made different things out of a four pointed star and we got to solder it and then take them home. Here with my finished stained glass.
